Bespoke event agency Exosphere reported a pre-tax profit of £86k in 2017 in its final results before its acquisition by Oxford Private Travel.

In accounts filed at Companies House, the London-based company reported turnover of £1.7m for the year ending 31 December 2017, which was down on 2016's £1.8m.

Oxford Private Travel acquired Exosphere for an undisclosed sum in December 2017. The acquisition did not include the Exosphere events business which has been rebranded to Origination and will be taken in a new direction under Exosphere MD John Saunders and existing events director Sophie Edward.

Despite turnover being slightly down on the previous year, pre-tax profit was up 44 per cent to £86k from 2016's £51k.
