Michael Kort, senior creative director at inVNT, will join the experiential company’s London office from its New York headquarters, it has been announced.

Kort’s transfer marks the start of the company’s global expansion and is part of inVNT’s plan for growth following its acquisition by Time Inc. in July 2015.

“Michael has been an invaluable member of inVNT’s New York operation, and we are proud to acknowledge his contributions to our company with this move,” said global managing partner Scott Cullather. “We are initiating a multi-platform approach, collaborating with like-minded organisations that specialise in different areas and expanding our core services, including live, digital and traditional media, brand environments and a wide range of creative services.”

Kort will be part of a team led by Muriel Holdsworth, inVNT’s EMEA MD.

Holdsworth said: “Michael will significantly contribute to EMEA’s overall growth strategy, particularly because of his deep experience in the automotive industry. He will bolster an already successful team that in 2015 delivered great campaigns in the region for Nissan, Juniper Networks and PepsiCo, to name a few. We already foresee exciting opportunities for inVNT in 2016.”

InVNT plans to expand beyond London into key locations around the world, including Asia, the Middle East and South America. The company is currently developing global activation strategies for multinational clients like Nissan, for which inVNT is a global strategic partner.
