Ensuring the safety for lone female business travellers and identifying trends among young business travellers are some of the topics that will be discussed at GTMC's annual conference.

The association, formerly known as the Guild of Travel Management Companies, will welcome speakers such as Carolyn Pearson, CEO of women's travel network Maiden Voyage and easyJet CEO Carolyn McCall to the speaker line-up at the autumn UK conference on 1 November.

Paul Wait, chief executive of the GTMC commented: "We regularly invest in research with frequent business travellers to better understand their thoughts and experiences but one thing that has really stood out recently is how the demographic of the group is evolving. For example, TMCs and travel providers must consider the comfort and safety of the growing number of lone female business travellers or how, not just what, younger travellers might want to manage their travel. We’ve selected this line-up of speakers for our UK conference with that in mind and look forward to debating what the demands of the future business traveller are and how TMCs can evolve to meet these."

More than 150 business travel professionals are expected to attend the conference, taking place at Pullman London St Pancras. More information here.
