Guidebook has expanded its team across Europe and Asia Pacific with five new recruits, after tripling its revenues in the last 12 months for its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions combined.

The mobile app company says demand for its events app has "soared", with new clients Benefit Cosmetics, Centaur Media, University of Oxford (Saïd Business School), Shell, Tetra Pak, Etihad Airways and Telegraph Events Ltd.

Since opening its EMEA headquarters office in London in April 2014, Guidebook has expanded its London team to nine. The most recent additions include Justin Lamb to the role of customer service advisor, Richard Rowe as account executive and Doris Wolflmaier in marketing. In APAC, Guidebook has established offices in Korea and also has bases in Hong Kong and Singapore, recruiting two new staff to its customer success team in the region.

Wayne Morris, VP International at Guidebook, said: "The response to our platform has been tremendous and we are continuing to see record growth as a direct result of the scalability and ease of use Guidebook offers clients. Once tried, they tend to be hooked and we are consistently seeing clients roll out multiple apps and guides across a whole series of events.

"In particular, we are constantly seeing new, creative ways of using our platform and monitor data closely to ensure developments match clients’ needs. We are delighted to see strong growth in Asia Pacific and continue to expand our client base across Europe.”

Guidebook also recently developed Interact, a dynamic activity feed that creates an interactive home screen, in response to increasing popularity for their engagement tools.
