Leopold Marketing has launched a series of five workshops across England designed to help venues and service providers tap into the international incentive market.
The countrywide, free-to-attend workshops - operated through the IncentiveEngland scheme - are part of the £40 million Discover England fund and are taking place throughout January.
Starting in Hampshire on Monday 23 January, the Leopold Marketing team will take to the road to deliver 10 IncentiveEngland workshops over five days in five incentive destinations throughout England. The team will be calling at Farnborough, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, Liverpool and York. Each session will see business tourism specialists provide interactive coaching to support the growth of direct business from the incentive sector.
Leo Platt, MD of Leopold Marketing, said: “The English regions offer a rich melting pot of unbeatable experiences, attractions and high quality accommodation that is ideal for the high value incentive travel sector. Fused with our unique culture, heritage, beautiful countryside and vibrant city-scenes and it is clear to see that England has a lot to offer incentive planners.
“As the latest phase of IncentiveEngland we are delighted to make available a series of training workshops to help venues and service providers gain direct benefit from the Discover England Fund and most critically grow market share from this highly beneficial business sector. We know places are going to fill fast and encourage the industry to come along and find out how they can benefit from this market.”
The team will cover more than 1500 miles and more than 30 hours of training to arm up to 600 meeting professionals with the tools that they need to ensure that their business is best placed to capitalise on the UK’s inbound incentive market.
The workshops last two hours each with a morning and afternoon session planned for each location.
