Freeman broadens European footprint with Reed contract

Company becomes official contractor for Reed Exhibitions' ILTM events, while appointing Mike Chambers as client solutions director

Freeman has become official contractor for Reed Exhibitions' International Luxury Travel Markets (ILTM) events, as it continues to break its way into the European market.


The company, which is marking its third year in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), was appointed by Reed after its contract was extended for ILTM in 2016 and 2017.


It comes as Freeman announces the appointment of Mike Chambers as client solutions director, bringing more than 35 years' experience to the role.


Anthony Floreano, managing director for Freeman in EMEA, said: "It’s incredible to see how far the Freeman team in EMEA has come as an organisation. Over the last three years we’ve moved into brand new offices and built a state-of-the-art production facility, maintained strong relationships with existing clients and established new ones, introduced a range of technologies designed to enhance the event experience for our clients and attendees, and we’ve recruited some of the region’s top talent across all departments.


"Our people will continue to play a vital role in the business moving forward, as we look to further cement ourselves as a premium provider in the EMEA market."


As part of its contract with Reed, Freeman will serve as official event contractor for ILTM, providing core services including shell scheme, carpet and electrics. It has also been appointed joint graphic supplier, allowing them to partner with organisers and exhibitors to help customers bring each event to life.


Emma Rawle, operations manager at Reed Exhibitions, said: "Reed Exhibitions is very pleased to have selected Freeman as both official contractor and joint official graphic supplier of ILTM in 2016 and 2017, with a review to continue the partnership into 2018."
