FreemanXP to deliver conference programme at drupa 2016

Freeman’s brand experience agency will deliver the programme at the world's largest printing equipment exhibition

FreemanXP has devised a bespoke conference programme for the drupa cube at drupa 2016, the world’s largest printing equipment exhibition. 

The 12-day event will descend on the Düsseldorf Messe in Germany from 31 May to 10 June.

The agency has secured The Medici Group as innovation partner for the drupa cube, a move that will see the company’s CEO, Frans Johansson deliver two keynotes and a number of sessions exploring the theory of 'intersectional thinking'. The Medici Group will be leading the Innovation @ The Intersection series, which will also address the concept. 

Sabine Geldermann, director of drupe, said: “If you want to master the current changes in the print industry, consistent change management is indispensable. This in turn only works out when you pursue a multi-disciplinary approach and look beyond your own backyard. The programme includes a session with Jordan Waid, vice president, brand experience at FreemanXP in EMEA, who will draw on the FXP TrendLab to address key trends and ideas within the modern day print industry. 

Waid said: “The FXP TrendLab is designed to help businesses innovate and plan for the future, and what better application than the vibrant and constantly evolving print industry. 

“By identifying, testing and finally applying key trends within the sector, attendees will learn how they can evolve their approach to engage their target audiences and develop brand affinity, loyalty and advocacy.” 

A range of print industry experts, including representatives from brands such as Hewlett-Packard, Electronics for Imaging (EFI)  and Konica Minolta will also deliver sessions within the drupa cube.    

FreemanXP is also producing a custom built stand for EFI at drupa 2016. The multi-level stand is designed to encompass a hospitality area and meeting rooms, and will showcase the company’s full range of printers and software solutions.
