Harvard lecturer to speak at first EIBTM Forum

08/10/2012

As part of its 25th birthday celebrations, trade show EIBTM will host its first ‘EIBTM Forum’, with Harvard University’s lecturer in public leadership, Barbara Kellerman as keynote speaker.

The opening forum will take place at Fira Montjuic, on Monday 26 November – the day before the exhibition begins in Barcelona. There will also be a presentation of the first EIBTM 'Lifetime Achievement Award', which will be given to someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the meetings industry over the last 25 years.

Kellerman, who has been ranked by Forbes.com as one of the ‘Top 50 Business Thinkers’ will share her insight through a session that will challenge the growth of the leadership industry and the belief that leading is a path to power and money.

Following the event, there will be an invitation-only reception at the newly renovated Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona.

Graeme Barnett, exhibition director, EIBTM, said: "The Forum is an exciting new initiative and part of our continual evolution of EIBTM. Having listened to Barbara Kellerman speak recently, I can promise a thoroughly entertaining yet thought provoking and provocative session, suitable for business professionals at any level of their career.”
