Healthcare disclosure comes under scrutiny

30/08/2012

International healthcare companies are to meet in Amsterdam in October to try and reach a global agreement on transparency of spend on healthcare providers.

The 2nd Global Transparency Reporting Congress will be held on 17-18 October, at the Hilton, Amsterdam. North American companies will meet with their European counterparts to discuss guidelines regulating the disclosure of this spend.

Although laws are not in place in every country, the global nature of the bio/pharmaceutical and medical device industries demands that companies meet these requirements with total preparedness.

The conference will focus on best practices for tracking and disclosing data, controlling spend on HCPs, implementing efficient systems and aligning goals across the company.
