02/12/2011

Congrex and q.media have been jointly appointed PCO for the 8th World Chambers Congress in 2013. The international conference management company and the Middle Eastern media agency signed a joint venture agreement following their delivery of the World Arabian Horse Organization conference, held from 1-8 November in Qatar.

“We are continually seeking international partnerships to improve our level of service and place Qatar on the global media and advertising map,” said q.media group media general manager, Jaber Al-Ansari. “We strongly believe that together q.media and Congrex has the potential to thrive.”

Congrex chief executive officer, David Wade-Smith, added: “This joint venture is a perfect example of how a partnership approach always works best. I am absolutely certain that Congrex’s efficient and imaginative conference service delivery will contribute to the already highly acknowledged service portfolio of q.media.”

The 8th World Chambers Congress will be hosted by Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) and World Chambers Federation (WCF). It takes place in Doha in 2013 and will bring together over 2,000 delegates from Chambers of Commerce from around the world.
