Hyde and Allen team up to launch new consultancy

The Sequoia Partnership aims to help event venues maximise growth

Long-time industry colleagues Anthony Hyde and Samme Allen have partnered to create a new industry consultancy.

Hyde and Allen have founded the Sequoia Partnership to focus on strategic venue management and business development. The pair has worked closely for a decade in roles at the Barbican and on the UK & Ireland board of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), in addition to launching the London City Selection venue-finding service.

“Samme and I have worked together across a variety of roles for more than 10 years," Hyde said. "It seemed only right that the next step in our journey should be the creation of a consultancy that brings together our passion and knowledge of the industry.”

The consultancy will work alongside venues in the UK and globally to maximise growth through strategic direction and planning across the whole of the venue management process including sales & marketing, internal and external communication and operational excellence.

Allen added: “We intend to work closely with key partners to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice from the most appropriate individuals and organisations. Our core value proposition is to grow business by making our client’s spaces work harder. Above all else we are looking forward to developing a fun and inspiring consultancy that delivers sustainable growth.”
