ISES UK to target event management students

Association partners with The Experience is the Marketing to stage road-show in 2016

The International Special Event Society UK Chapter (ISES) is partnering with The Experience is the Marketing to start an educational roadshow in 2016.

The University Tour will discuss industry trends and challenges facing the industry, as well as share the association's message with the next generation of event organisers.

ISES UK says it will also work closer with lecturers to give input into event syllabus, while encouraging its members who take a keen interest to also get involved.

Kevin Jackson, director of innovation & ideas, The Experience is the Marketing, said: “(The tour) means we can bring to life the world of events, experience marketing and brand activation, and give students a taste of the world they are about to enter.”

The tour will be called Experience the Industry and start in spring 2016.

Jackson added: "This is a subject that is incredibly close to my heart. Talent breeds creativity and creativity grows our sector.

"There is great talent out there and the more we as an industry put into the educational organisations, the better it will be. This is a responsibility we should all feel.”
