Imagination clocks up the miles for Ford campaign

Agency delivers two-day drive experience for 400 guests, which included test drives and meet and greets

Imagination was in the driving seat for a two-day vehicle experience for 400 guests, designed for Ford's Unlearn campaign.

The agency designed the experience at the iconic Silverstone track, which allowed guests test drive the Ford Focus RS and Ford Mustang while receiving driving tips from some of the best instructors in the business. New Ford Mustang owners also had the opportunity to put their own vehicles to the test on the track.

A meet-and-greet was also organised with Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Team driver Marino Franchitti and guests took part in a behind-the-scenes tour of the Silverstone Wing complete with photo opportunities at the winners' podium.

Imagination also organised demonstrations from Paul Swift, to showcase the features in the Ford Mustang and Ford Focus RS.

The event culminated in a series of evening programmes that included presentations, dinners and a keynote speech from Fran Millar, director of business operations and head of winning behaviours for Team Sky, in a nod to Ford's multi-year partnership with the media company as exclusive supplier of cars and vans.

David Girling, Imagination’s business head for the Ford account, said: “Arriving as stakeholders, guests left as Ford Performance fans, and advocates of the brand’s vehicle range – letting go of what they thought they knew of Ford before, feeling the story, testing the cars… and living the glory. It was testament to the hard work of a great team of people.”
