Imagination is working with Canon at the 2012 Photokina exhibition in Cologne this week. The creative agency was tasked with designing and building the stand for Canon at the international photography and imaging trade fair, which is running from 18 - 23 September.
The stand, which takes inspiration from Canon’s new ‘Power to…’ advertising slogan (conceived by Imagination), is divided into four main display zones showcasing Canon’s full line-up of products and technologies and features a number of new products being launched at the show.
Visitors to the Canon stand can engage with the brand in a number of ways, including using Wi-Fi enabled cameras to post images onto Facebook. There is also a daily news report ‘Canon Live’ that is being uploaded onto Canon’s YouTube channel.
Guy Stevenson, Canon client services director at Imagination, said: “Photokina is a key event for Canon as it is an opportunity to not only showcase their latest technologies and products but also truly engage with customers. We feel this year we have delivered more than just an event; we have created an interactive experience that allows visitors on-line and in Cologne to experience the brand first hand.”
