Creative agency Imagination designed and delivered the hospitality venue for sports brand Asics during the Olympics, catering to more than 1,500 visitors.
Asics tasked Imagination with creating a unique space for guests throughout the duration of the Games, which accommodated up to 200 visitors a day. The East London venue on Romford Road was used as a base for Asics’ key customers, media, business partners, federation members and past and present athletes. The agency provided catering and hospitality alongside live Olympics coverage on a four by nine metre video wall.
To highlight the company’s sporting heritage, Imagination used the entrance to the venue as a space to depict the Games and Asics products. The entrance tunnel opened onto the main space, which had three areas including a welcome bar and lounge area designed around Asics’ ‘Made of Sport’ campaign.
“The Asics Olympic venue has proved to be an engaging and interactive space for visitors. Bringing together past and present athletes whilst inspiring the next generation,” said Lucie Cooper, an account manager at Imagination.
