Inaugural Brussels meetings show set for March

First edition of business and events tourism trade show set to attract 500 delegates to Belgian capital in March

The first Brussels Mice Day, a business and events tourism trade show, is set to be held in the Belgian capital in March.

It is an opportunity for event planners and buyers to meet more than 60 trade suppliers from the Brussels-Capital region, while meetings and talks for associations and corporate planners will boost the one-day show. The Belgium chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is among the confirmed exhibitors.

The 500 delegates will come from all over Europe, including the UK, with a hosted buyer programme being set up for international visitors, as well as pre-arranged meetings with the exhibitors before the show.

With 787 conventions and meetings in 2014, Brussels came first in Europe and second globally in the Union of International Associations (UIA) ranking of convention destinations.

The event will take place at Tour & Taxis in the Hôtel de la Poste on 10 March from 9am-6pm.
