Event planners will have a chance to get into the minds of clients at the next #EventPlannersTalk, entitled The Perfect Pitch - what clients are looking for.

Organised by industry blogger Irina Trofimovskaya, the discussion will take place at EEF Venues’ Broadway House meetings and conference venue in Tothill Street, Westminster on Monday 25 July from 6pm.

Panel members include Deborah Kelly, business development manager UK, London & Partners, Gareth Dimelow, founder and creative strategist, LIFTD, and Mike Walker, MD of MGN Events.

The forum is open to anyone involved in the pitch process, including event planners, agencies and bookers, and topics will cover costings, pitfalls and preparation for briefings, communication, creativity and challenges.

Trofimovskaya said: "The pitching process can be long, challenging and costly, not only for the client but also for the agency. Some agencies can afford it, but smaller agencies sometimes need to 'pitch to play' to establish a relationship.

"We are hoping to explore all aspects of the process, and share insight and knowledge while networking in the lovely surroundings of Broadway House."
