Inntel reveals £7m worth of wins and 11 per cent rise in client spend

Colchester-based Inntel continues to grow as client spending increases in the first six months of 2016

Inntel has won contracts worth £7 million and revealed an 11 per cent increase in overall client spend for the first six months of 2016.

According to interim figures, client spend between 1 January and 30 June 2016 was up 11 per cent on the same period last year, while the meetings and travel management company's revenue increased by 6 per cent.  

The increase is largely attributed to a 20 per cent rise in spend on conference-related business travel and a 12 per cent increase in spending on accommodation, according to Jane Dibble, director of business development.

She said: “Our first quarter results suggested that the rapid growth trajectory we had been on for a year would continue and these six month figures show that we were right to be positive. I am equally sure that this period of growth is far from over, particularly as we have secured new client contracts of £7m in recent months.”


In addition to its recent successes, the company has also revealed it has retained 95 per cent of its existing clients.
