Triple S Sports and Entertainment Group (TSSEG) has announced the acquisition of luxury celebrity, fashion and corporate events company, Julie Perry Events (JPE).

Under the terms of the deal, the sports, talent management, digital and marketing agency acquires all the shares in JPE for an undisclosed amount. Julie Perry will continue as MD of the enlarged business which will retain the JPE brand name and will embrace the current Triple S Events business. All JPE staff will be retained while Julie will also take a seat on the TSSEG management board.

Paul Stretford, MD of TSSEG said: “We are delighted formally to have sealed the long-standing relationship between our two companies with the acquisition of Julie Perry Events.

Julie and her team have built up an unrivalled reputation for creating and delivering the most memorable destination events both globally and in the UK. Her company’s client list is a veritable who’s who of sports, fashion, entertainment and celebrity as well as high profile corporate business.

“The acquisition of the JPE brand fits perfectly with TSSEG’s growth strategy of offering the fullest possible range of services to our ever-growing client rosters.”

Julie Perry added: “We have worked closely with Triple S for over a decade, and with Paul specifically for over 20 years. Inevitably during that time we have naturally built up a great deal of understanding of each other’s business.

“The synergies that exist in the areas in which we operate will help take our business to the next stage of its development and progression.”

The acquisition marks the latest stage in the growth of TSSEG, the holding company of Triple S Management International which represents Wayne and Coleen Rooney and numerous top footballers. TSSEG also includes Triple S Communications whose clients include England manager Gareth Southgate, Round World Entertainment, ITV’s Soccer Aid for Unicef and Invictus Games Racing.
