Events caterer KUDOS has a new driving force after welcoming two new additions to its leadership team.

The firm has welcomed Peter Bruun as senior partner and Michelin-starred chef David Cavalier as food director, joining existing managing partner Jon Pryce.

Bruun, who brings 18 years’ of international operations experience, will oversee and develop the KUDOS brand and culture; driving the continued growth of the business across the country.

Bruun said: “I am delighted to have joined the KUDOS team. KUDOS is a privately owned, quality led, personality driven company, and I’d like to highlight and focus on those elements to drive us forward.”

His restaurant management career began in Copenhagen, before coming to the UK to work with Signature Restaurants Plc and The Scotsman Hotel Group. He returned to Denmark with DGI Byens Hotels and Meyers Køkken & Deli and went on to open his own café and deli in Copenhagen, before returning to the UK with his family.

David Cavalier will oversee all food development, innovation and sourcing within the business. His career has spanned more than 30 years, including positions at the Grosvenor House Hotel, The Dorchester, The Berkeley Hotel, and Mosimann’s, as well as his own restaurants – Pebbles, Cavalier’s and High Holborn. The latter achieved a Michelin star in just five months, receiving wide critical acclaim.

Cavalier has received five Michelin stars across his career and is the first Michelin-starred chef to be employed full-time within contract catering.
