Kensington Palace welcomed 40 agency guests to a spectacular dinner as part of the London Summer Weekend, organised by London & Partners and The Leading Hotels of the World.

Representatives from companies including Zibrant, Inntel and B.I. Worldwide took part in a series of teambuilding challenges and product updates, before enjoying dinner at Kensington Palace, one of six venues cared for by independent charity Historic Royal Palaces.

Alex Donnelly-Palmer, events and operations manager at Kensington Palace, said: “We were delighted to host the London & Partners and The Leading Hotels of the World’s agency dinner on Saturday evening.

“We wanted to give guests a quintessentially British experience at the palace and this was certainly achieved. The fantastic weather meant we could make use of the enchanting Sunken Garden for the drinks reception, while the King’s Gallery set the scene for a royal banquet.”

Guests were welcomed into the Sunken Garden by a guitarist for drinks and canapés, before dinner in the King’s Gallery, the palace’s largest and longest room, first built to showcase King William III’s paintings.

Milan Thakrar, business development manager - commercial events, Historic Royal Palaces, added: “This is the second time we have welcomed agents to one of our palaces as part of the London Summer Weekend. It was fantastic to showcase Kensington Palace and provide a truly unique backdrop to the evening. Our partners shared our vision to provide a quintessentially British experience and helped us deliver a truly memorable event.”
