Registrations for the Conference and Hospitality Show have risen by 50 per cent since its relocation to the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

The show, for event organisers and PAs in the north of England, has beaten its initial target of a 40 per cent increase on numbers at its former home, Leeds United Football Club’s Elland Road stadium.

In addition, exhibitor numbers are growing, with just 40 of the 170 stands available 12 weeks before the show on 26 April.

Emma Cartmell, MD of organiser CHS Group said: “The move to the world class First Direct Arena has proved very popular with visitors, hosted buyers and exhibitors. The city centre location is attracting more buyers who will find it very easy to pop in to the show for an extended lunch break or a few hours. CHS16 is a one day event which helps exhibitors to limit precious time away from the office whilst maximising exposure to relevant buyers. Our team is on target to completely sell out by the end of February.”

Exhibitors include Sandals and Beaches Resorts, VisitScotland, Rockingham Motor Speedway, Manchester City Football Club, Mercure Newcastle Country Hotel and Cvent.
