Pure Events has won five new contracts, including an internal event for Lego, as it reveals plans to double within three years.

The agency, led by MD Charlotte Wilson, was awarded the Lego event, which will involve 400 people and take place in December, along with private equity and law firm clients, such as Charles Russell Speechly.

It comes as Pure Events continues to grow its business with it's target growth profit of 20 per cent, and is on track to reach £800k in gross profit, up from £640k last year.

Wilson says she would like to see the agency grow in size, improving turnover from the current £2.5-£3 million to £5m.

"We've got a very strong management team, with a huge wealth of experience and we are absolutely punching with and tendering with the big agencies," she said.

"The overall goal is to be considered the best in the industry at what we do and also to have the best-skilled staff in the industry."

This year the agency appointed five new team members, including former Rolls Royce in-house planner Milo Gabric as operations director, and Janine Norman from Capita Travel & Events. Last week the agency took part in the Action for Kids beach volleyball fundraiser, where staff won the prize for fundraising.
