Lime Venue Portfolio (LVP) has launched a campaign to champion the importance of conferences.

Meetings Mean Business, which runs until March 16, will include direct mail, social media and a guide for event planners that encourages them to make the most of their company conference. The guide will include hints and tips, as well as advice from senior event professionals.

“January to March is conference quarter for us and we’re seeing an increase in company meetings coming to unusual venues like ours,” said Jo Austin, sales director at LVP. “We believe that a conference that chooses an unusual venue is making a statement already, and that the organiser is looking to set a positive and distinctive tone from the outset. We’re using Meetings Mean Business as a way to reward and incentivise this approach.”

The campaign will be supported by a series of venue showcase events from some of the key venues within the portfolio, including Dartmouth House, Kia Oval and Royal Berkshire Conference Centre. There will also be individual promotions and offers, specifically for conferences and meetings in venues across the group.

As part of the campaign, LVP will be sharing advice on how to create the very best company conference.

Austin added: “We’re not just seeing stunning conference events coming to our venues, we’re watching them create amazing experiences for their guests. Organisers are creating events that bring their company values and ethics to life. It’s impossible to see how their delegates couldn’t be inspired by what is on show.”
