Meetings industry players in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, have just completed an intensive three-day training course.

The International Association of PCOs conducted the ‘national seminar’ at the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva. Under the initiative of the Vilnius Convention Bureau, it was attended by 50 representatives from local congress organisers, destination management companies, incentive companies and conference hotels.

IAPCO Training Academy speakers included Patrizia Semprebene Buongiorno managing director of AIM Congress, Sarah Storie-Pugh, IAPCO administrator and Sarah Fitzpatrick managing director at Congrex UK Ltd. Both basic and advanced topics were tackled.

“This exceptional training opportunity provided a substantial amount of practical information and invaluable knowledge for every participant. The feedback has been extremely positive,” said Jolanta Beniuliene, director of Vilnius Convention Bureau.
