The London Summer Event Show pulled record visitor numbers in its fourth edition, with a 3 per cent increase on its last show.

Almost 750 visitors attended the two-day event, including 509 corporate buyers and 240 event agents. This was up from 725 buyers in 2015.

The show, held at Merchant Taylors' Hall on 19-20 January, included a winter themed London Christmas Party Show and was split into a Corporate Buyers Day and Event Agents Evening to target the different audiences.

Visitor Ele Mather, from agency Brandrapport, said: “It was good to go to a show which just had industry specialists. Some of these shows end up over crowded with anyone and everyone and it was nice that this one felt so exclusive.”

Exhibitor, Paul Banham, head of business development at WildGoose, added: “It is a smaller show, more concentrated and the audience is much more targeted meaning you get a better result.”

Complimentary catering was on offer throughout the event and a full seminar programme discussed topics such as generating return on investment from internal staff events, and top tips on creative trends and content for summer events.

The next event in the series will be the London Christmas Party Show, taking place at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London's West End on 4-5 May. For more photos, head to our Facebook page.
