Lord's Cricket
Ground has invested £3.8 million in creating two new event spaces and
refurbishing a third space at the venue.
In time for the new season, the venue has unveiled the Grand Stand, described as a light and airy space for conferences of
up to 100 people, which will be
complemented by a mezzanine level, called the Father Time Gallery, available
for breakout and refreshment space. It can be used separately for networking
and drinks receptions of up to 100 people.
The refurbished
President's Box is able to accommodate dinners of up to 48 guests, while work
has also gone into improving the kitchens and toilets and digital signage has
been added.
Meetings and events
sales manager Zoe Ward said: “The project has given us three new event spaces
in readiness for the cricket season which enhance the already wide variety of
flexible event spaces available at Lord’s.”
Planners that book
their event in the Grand Stand in May will receive a complimentary tour for up
to 25 guests of the Ground, subject to availability.
