MCI buys Brussels public affairs company LOGOS

02/10/2012

MCI has bought Brussels-based company LOGOS Public Affairs to assist associations with intelligence gathering, outreach, policy influence, reputation management and stakeholder dialogue. The new public affairs service will focus on three key areas – healthcare/pharma, automotive transport and energy/environment.

Geneva-based association, communication, congress and event management company MCI has worked with LOGOS and its founder, Fred Soudain, for more than five years, and it will be Soudain who will continue to lead LOGOS’ team of 10 consultants, along with José Lalloum and Florence Bernardoni.

Nikki Walker, MCI's vice president of association management and consulting, said: "Developing our own public affairs competency within MCI reinforces our ability to serve, develop and build associations."

Soudain added: "We have experienced the cooperation with MCI for the past five years and adhere fully to the vision and objectives of the company. Public affairs is a key component that will reinforce our services to existing and future clients."
