Story Events will undergo a management restructure that will see its managing director role split into three, after MD Sarah Kay revealed she will be departing in October.

The restructure will see the senior management team of Melanie Miles, Rosalind Shelley and Steph Eayrs take up the leading position under new titles of Story Bespoke MD, venue search London MD and operations director respectively.

It comes as the company looks to continue its growth, aiming for £3 million in turnover this financial year and taking on an additional four recruits in the next quarter.

Dominique Gill, who will remain CEO, said: "The business growth has surpassed all of our expectations and it is vital that we create a management structure that allows us to continue to grow whilst ensuring we remain totally focussed on our clients and stay true to our ethos. Sarah has played a pivotal role in our launch and development stages and the new management team will be very focussed on taking Story Events Ltd to the next step of its journey."

The company says the new structure will allow for growth within the business, with the added recruits supporting the structure change and recent large client wins.

Major upcoming events for the company include The Waitrose Drinks Festival in September; a 4000-strong graduation event for the London School of Marketing at the O2 and brand activation events to be held in venues such as the London Eye.
