Lime Venue Portfolio (LVP) is calling for event professionals to meet on top of three of the UK’s highest mountains - as part of its Christmas charity campaign.

The Three Peaks challenge on 27-29 August will kick off the Christmas with Sparkle campaign by encouraging event professionals to meet on top of the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.

Led by Richard Kadri-Langford, head of marketing at LVP, the three day, three mountain challenge will involve meetings with clients, customers and supporters of the brand on top of Ben Nevis (27th), Scafell Pike (28th) and Snowdon (29th).

Kadri-Langford said: “As meetings and events professionals, we’re lucky enough to be a part of creating the very best experiences, every day. So the idea of supporting a charity whose mission is to provide disadvantaged children with great experiences really resonated with us.

“It’s a great way to launch our Christmas campaign and I’m looking forward to having three of the highest meetings of the year in the space of three days.”

The challenge is part of a wider campaign developed between Lime Venue Portfolio, industry charity Meeting Needs and Happy Days, who create unique experiences for disabled or disadvantaged children. Christmas with Sparkle is running throughout September and aims to raise £2,500 for Happy Days.

For those that can’t make it LVP has committed to donating £10 for every enquiry taken in September that quotes #sparkle. LVP venues will also have collection boxes throughout the campaign.
