The force was with buyers as Merlin Events London unveiled Madame Tussauds' newest events space, Movies at Madame Tussauds.

Event professionals enjoyed 1970s inspired cocktails and canapes in the Marvel movie zone alongside Captain America and Iron Man.

They were then treated to a private screening of a Marvel Super Heroes 4D movie before exploring the Star Wars experience at the new venue, which can accommodate up to 80 guests for seated dinners and 120 for standing events.

Inspired by the year that saw the release of the first Star Wars film, guests enjoyed a 1977 style three-course dinner in Jabba the Hutt’s Throne Room, courtesy of caterers Food by Dish, featuring prawn cocktail, duck a l'orange and tiramisu.

Samantha Burton, senior events manager at Merlin Events London, said: “It’s fantastic to see our brand new event space come to life. Movies at Madame Tussauds celebrates some of the most memorable characters in sci-fi history and will bring a whole new immersive element to our event offering.”
