More than 500 hotels to go on show at Global Pursuits

Marriott's 19th annual event to update more than 600 buyers on its portfolio of global venues

Meeting buyers will have the opportunity to learn about more than 500 Marriott-branded properties at this year's Global Pursuits showcase.

The one-day event, taking place at London's Grosvenor House on Tuesday 7 June, will provide an update for attendees on hotels from brands such as Autograph, Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance, Moxy and more.

More than 250 hosted buyers from 28 countries have registered, while an additional 350 buyers from the UK market are expected to attend. Overseas customers will also have the opportunity to participate in a brand immersion experience at key properties within London.

David Bartlett, Marriott VP of global sales, Europe, said: "It is important for our hotels and customers to get the chance to meet with each other, but with so many hotels in our portfolio it is challenging to have the hotels visit customers individually. So we set up Global Pursuits to allow both parties to get the chance to meet with each other in one day. That way, buyers have the opportunity to meet the whole world of Marriott in one place."

The event, which has been running since 1997, is being held in conjunction with American Express.
