Manchester Central has secured multi-year deals with four major national associations, which will bring at least 13,000 delegates to the city in 2017 alone.

The British Dental Association (BDA), which has held its annual conference and exhibition at the venue since 2012, has confirmed it will return for the next three years, while the Pension and Lifetime Savings Association and the Royal Microscopical Society have also committed to bring their events bi-annually until 2023 and 2021 respectively.

The British Cardiovascular Society has also signed up to host its annual conference and exhibition at Manchester Central until 2023, having met at the venue since 2014.

Angie Robinson, CEO of Manchester Central, said: "Manchester Central’s unrivalled flexibility and established reputation for hosting world-class events is a huge draw for national associations and I’m delighted that they continue to choose the venue to host their major conferences and events year-on-year. Securing future business is always a priority and we look forward to welcoming both new and returning associations to the venue in coming years."

The wins come as Manchester Central prepares to become the venue north of England to host the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers’ Excellence Awards later this year.
