Event marketing specialist evvnt has appointed Kent Daniels to the newly created role of managing director for the Middle East.

Formerly of Dubai World Trade Centre, UBM and Messe Frankfurt, Daniels will lead evvnt’s strategic planning and relationship-building across the region, with the goal of opening a regional office in Dubai during 2016.

He said: “Evvnt ‘s online tools help event promoters to instantly reach the perfect audience across the world’s network of event listing sites, and is the only company in the market offering such services.

“There is a great opportunity here in the Middle East for evvnt to improve and elevate the events scene, providing accurate information in a timely manner to a range of communities. I believe it will be a game changer - and it's great to be involved at this early stage.”

Evvnt has a number of key partnerships opening up in the Middle East in 2016 with recently confirmed CB-gateway as its first regional reseller for their event distribution technology platform to the conference, exhibition and training sector. Evvnt’s strategic focus will be on growing clients across the enterprise and local sector.

Richard Green, evvnt CEO and founder, said: “Kent brings over a decade of experience of working with the region’s major organisers and key publishing and media houses. We met Kent whilst pitching to the Dubai World Trade Centre who went on to become a client and it was clear from my first meeting that Kent was well versed in Dubai’s business and culture; he came across as a true professional. I’m personally excited to have Kent Daniels representing evvnt’s business launch in the GCC and Levant as the market is a perfect fit for our service.”
