A £3 million revamp at Lougborough University has added up to nine new meeting spaces to its inventory.

The university’s event management arm, imago, will manage bookings in the new West Park Teaching Hub. Equipped with the latest AV technology, the spaces consist of five tiered lecture theatres, the largest of which can accommodate 258 delegates, two seminar rooms and an exhibition area that can be broken down into two smaller areas.

Head of sales and marketing Emma Boynton said: “It’s really exciting to be able to offer clients a new event space on campus – it is an outstanding facility to have in our portfolio. The West Park Teaching Hub offers everything event organisers need for successful meetings and conferences. But our campus offering is about more than the buildings. Being able to utilise the university’s reputation for academic excellence is also a great way for event organisers to enhance content.”
