New networking tool from artificial intelligence specialist

Application Programme Interface enables event applications to integrate matchmaking engine into own apps

Event tech firm Grip has launched an Application Programme Interface (API) to enable event applications to integrate its matchmaking engine into their own apps. 

Grip’s artificial intelligence powered matchmaking platform can now integrate with any event app or website, making it possible for event businesses to more easily integrate Grip into their products.

Tim Groot, CEO of Grip, said: “By launching our API, we have widened the scope of our unique event matchmaking solution so that it can be used via a company’s own website or existing digital apps. It provides a seamless and simple solution for companies keen to use our matchmaking engine in the optimum way and who want to integrate it with their existing solutions.

“The AI event networking tool, with its clever use of advanced algorithms created by Grip was already unique and we have now reached another industry first as no other matchmaking engine currently exists that has become available via an API.”

Six companies have signed up with Grip to provide integrated business event networking apps via the API, including online event management company Attendease, indoor event navigation specialist ITM Mobile, event engagement platform Loopd, micro-learning platform SmartUp and event app specialists Goomeo and
