BrandFuel is on course to comfortably surpass its turnover target after moving into new premises in central London.

The event creative agency, which also specialises in events, marketing and branding strategy, has relocated to offices in WeWork, on the South Bank. and is set to top turnover of £18 million for the financial year, according to business development director Sue Winckler.

BrandFuel’s 40 staff vacated former premises at Britannia Row in Islington at the end of its lease to be closer to central London clients. Some of the agency’s major clients include Google and Twitter.

Winckler said: “The move was about growth and development. It’s a much more central base for clients – we didn’t ever invite clients to our former offices, now we do and they are impressed.

“The outlook is extremely positive, and we feel quite buoyant. We are two-thirds of the way through our financial year and we have almost met our turnover target of £18 million.

“In three years we have grown from being a small design and production company to a medium-sized, and well-established agency. We wanted to meet our target, so anything else is a bonus.”

Although figures for 2014 are yet to be published, BrandFuel’s accounts for the year ending 31 May, 2013, show that pre-tax profit on a £9m turnover was halved to £333k from £686k, in what the directors’ report said was ‘a year of consolidation’.

Winckler added: “We have put in a lot of processes, and we have re-focused and we have grown. We have brought in more senior people and introduced stronger KPIs (key performance indicators).”
