Global destination management company Pacific World has increased its reach to Austria, soon after the opening of its office in Germany.

The DMC moved into the northern Europe market in 2015 when Berlin-based Albamy joined its portfolio in response to a high level of demand in the region from Pacific World clients.

Now the Berlin office is starting to service event requirements in neighbouring Austria.

Regional director Mark Barber said: “The ability to offer our services in Austria is really exciting as it will provide our clients access to one of Europe’s leading destinations. Austria’s amazing infrastructure, which is perfect for congresses and incentives, good flight connections, history, culture, safety, and good value for money make it a hot spot among international and European planners.”

Pacific World’s Austria-focused team has 15 years of meetings and events experience, said Michele Borzi, Germany and Austria country manager. “We are continually striving to improve and enhance the experience for all our clients,” he added. “The launch of our services in this new destination will enable us to provide a one-stop shop offering for their meetings, events, incentives, and congresses in this top meetings destination.”
