Philippines contract win buoys ATP Instone in the marine sector

14/11/2011

PAL Maritime Corporation has signed a long-term contract with marine sector travel management company ATP Instone. The Philippines-based company, which supplies workers to the offshore oil and gas and shipping industries, will use ATP Instone for all of its employee logistics. According to ATPI Group CEO Graham Ramsey, the signing will position the company as the leading TMC within the shipping world. Its operation in Manila already serves more than 70,000 passengers a year, mostly from the shipping, oil and gas sectors.

Mark David Joseph, director, PAL Maritime Corporation, added: “ATP Instone has successfully developed its business internationally and its high client servicing levels accommodate the increasingly demanding needs of our company. As our mandate is to be seen as the world’s best in the field of crew management, we were particularly impressed with ATP Instone’s increasing global presence and strong account team.”

The signing comes as ATP Instone prepares to exhibit at the Asia-Pacific Manning & Training Conference in Manila this week; the shipping industry's largest manpower recruitment, retention and training conference.
