Portman Conferences and Events has entered into strategic partnerships with fellow event management companies, KDM Events, Team Tactics and Mandarin Kite Communications, in order to expand its meetings and events offering.

Portman Conferences and Events, which is a division of leading travel management company Portman Travel, will now be able to offer additional services such as prestige corporate hospitality and team building.

Portman Travel’s chief commercial officer, Adrian Parkes, said: “Portman Conferences and Events’ partners have been carefully selected and are all leaders in their fields. The expansion means we can offer our clients a unique MICE solution that covers every aspect of event management, from the travel arrangements and ground activities, to the budgeting and detailed MI reporting post-event.”

Tina Benson, managing director of Team Tactics, added: “The strong purchasing arm of Portman Travel in the hotel and travel market will provide Team Tactics clients with better travel solutions at a more competitive price, both in the UK and overseas.”
