Profit forecast to increase by a fifth at drp

Agency celebrates strong 2015 with party and Brilliance Awards

Profits are predicted to rise by 20 per cent and turnover to hit £15 million at event agency drp.

The company announced the forecast on the back of a "very busy" 2015, which saw staff numbers increase by 5 per cent.


In 2014, the company recorded pre-tax profits of £569k.


The 172 team members were thanked by Group CEO Dale Parmenter with bonuses, while the company celebrated at its Christmas conference and party in its Worcestershire studios.


Drp's top performers were recognised with the Brilliance Awards, which saw production manager James Nam win the anything's possible team member of the year and a trip to Chicago.


Parmenter said: "2015 has been challenging and a very busy year. We hit a milestone with our 35th and increased team numbers by 30. It’s brilliant we’ve been able to achieve an increase in GP.


"Although 2015 was a year of hard work, we’ve seen the reward and the team received a bonus this year as a thank you for all their efforts. I’m excited for what’s in store for 2016."


Drp also achieved its vision of completing 35 CSR initiatives to mark its 35th year, including a 24-hour rowing challenge to raise money for industry charity Meetings Industry Meeting Needs.
