Crazy Cow Events has reported a 42 per cent growth in operating profit as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The company says bigger contracts with existing clients and an increase in the number of conference and team building events has led to the growth.

Crazy Cow has also launched a new website to mark its milestone and held a birthday bash for its clients at the end of May at Metal Box Factory on the Southbank. Clients were treated to live entertainment, cocktail bars, DJs and displays from a number of partner venues across London.

The agency, whose owners include former Concerto Group chair Mike Kershaw, MD Robyn Lipnicki and leisure entrepreneur John Connell, was formerly part of Concerto Group, before a management buyout last year.

Lipnicki said: "We are very excited about the future and believe our growth in venue finding and event management services is completely sustainable through continued investment in great people and clever marketing."

Kershaw added: "I have had a keen interest in the venue finding industry for some time and I am delighted that Crazy Cow is making such progress. This business has a great future and a number of exciting new projects in the pipeline which I am looking forward to bringing to fruition."
