Bespoke tour operator and travel agent Quintessentially Travel has entered the corporate travel market following the acquisition of London-based CJL Total Travel Management.

The global company says the acquisition will offer clients an "all-encompassing, travel management solution", and will bring turnover for Quintessentially Travel Group to £35 million.

Ian Neale, global CEO of Quintessentially Travel Group, said: "We are delighted to acquire such a prominent Corporate Travel business with a strong industry reputation for providing a fantastic service to their established client base. This new division will be added to our leisure business and there is a huge opportunity to benefit from each other’s strengths.

We receive many requests from our Quintessentially Membership and Corporate clients to provide a comprehensive corporate travel service, so this will significantly enhance our offering in the market."

Edward Leigh, CEO of CJL Travel, added: "It’s an incredibly exciting time to be part of such a successful global brand. This will provide us with a great opportunity to extend Quintessentially’s excellent services and added value benefits to our own corporate client base and together provide a powerful travel offering in the market.

I am very much looking forward to being part of Quintessentially."

The value of the acquisition has not yet been disclosed.
