Registrations have increased 25 per cent for this year's Dell Management Challenge, with 30 corporate teams signing up from the likes of Microsoft, GE and Dell EMC.

The gruelling challenge, being organised by Wales Hywel Loveluck, involves a two-day adventure race, a management development initiative and networking in the Brecon Beacons on 30 September to 2 October.

It comes as organisers shift this year's focus to include more networking opportunities, particularly in the evening, as well as introducing a session from a LinkedIn representative on how to optimise LinkedIn profiles. It follows last year's event which saw 24 companies register for the challenge.

Tim Griffin, Dell EMC UK CEO and also a director of the WRU, said: "The event is unique, pitching global names against each other in the peerless adventure terrain of the Brecon Beacons to optimise management team performance, business networking and helping our partner charity the National Autistic Society."

The winning three teams will have the opportunity to attend Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education.
