W&O Events has made a number of new appointments after the company saw revenue grow 15 per cent in the past 12 months.
The agency has hired Urooj Khan, formerly of Banks Sadler, as a venue finding consultant. Alongside Urooj, Jane Elliott has been appointed as a travel coordinator to provide clients with precision in their travel itineraries, strengthening W&O’s bespoke service offering. This new team will be managed by operations manager Joy Cole, who was previously venue services manager & senior project manager at Zibrant.
Peter McAllister has joined the business development team to drive the agency towards its sales target for 2012 and enhance the business performance for 2013, while Louise Saunders has been appointed as marketing manager to support W&O’s sales strategy and deliver marketing, communications and brand engagement.
To support this structure, Danielle Littlestone has also been promoted internally to manage the account executive team.
