Ricoh Arena appoints LiveBuzz to meet growing demand

Coventry venue appoints specialist registration and staffing company LiveBuzz to meet growing demand for events

The Ricoh Arena has appointed specialist registration and staffing company LiveBuzz to meet a growing demand for events, exhibitions and conferences.

In 2015, a total of 695 events and meetings were held at the multi-purpose venue in Coventry, from niche trade shows to global conferences.

LiveBuzz’s head office is based just 10 minutes from the Ricoh Arena and the firm has already supplied registration services to several exhibitions and conferences at the venue.

Andy Cox, head of event services at the Ricoh Arena, said: “We believe LiveBuzz has the credentials and experience to help our event organiser clients with these key services which are crucial to the success of their events.” 

Chris Hartley, sales director of LiveBuzz, said: “We’re delighted with this appointment because we’ve always enjoyed working at the Ricoh Arena.

“This agreement paves the way for us to work more collaboratively with the Ricoh’s in-house team to deliver state-of-the-art registration services and equally high levels of customer support to the growing number of events organisers who are bringing their conferences, exhibitions, meetings or events to the venue.”

LiveBuzz manages event registration for more than 100 major conferences and exhibitions across the world.
