Royal Marine team building will put groups to the test

15/08/2012

A new team building option will be available for groups believing they have what it takes to be a Royal Marine.

'Operation Commando' is run by the Royal Marines Association and will debut on 5-7 October. The Royal Marines claim that only moderate fitness levels are required in order to “undertake a mission with The Royal Marines that will test your physical endurance, mental ability, team work and leadership skills.”

Following its first running, the team building event – which takes place on the Pembrokeshire coastline in Wales and will involve up to 30 serving and former Royal Marines and such activities as minefield extraction and casualty evacuations – will be available to groups, in teams of four.

Participants can expect to get muddy, and entry fees go to benefit wounded Royal Marines.
