Personal development and the rise of the sharing economy will dominate the education on offer at October’s IMEX America.

The Las Vegas trade show, held on 18-20 October, will focus on impact of the likes of Airbnb and Uber, while the Where Personal Meets Professional education stream – featuring a talk by by Brighton-based Meetology Group CEO Jonathan Bradshaw on interpersonal communication - will analyse how personal wellbeing can benefit event planners in and outside of the office.

Other speakers include Jay Samit, widely regarded as one of the world’s leading experts on disruption and innovation, and futurist Pablos Holman, whose projects include the world's smallest PC, a Wi-Fi seeking robot and mosquito zapping lasers.

In all, IMEX America will serve up 10 tracks of specialist interest content.

CEO Carina Bauer said: “With each show we aim to refine and improve the process of doing business, gaining valuable education and making important connections. We understand the significance and the balance that each of these three pillars holds for both our buyers and our suppliers and aim to make their week at IMEX America their most valuable week of the year.”

IMEX America takes place on 18 – 20 October at the Sands Expo and Convention Cente, Las Vegas.
