Events management company Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC) has taken on two new staff members while promoting a third, as it predicts a 10 per cent increase in corporate events for 2017.

The Manchester-based agency has created a sales team and appointed Rosie Griffin and Carl Darcy from CD Consulting in the new roles, while events manager Ellie Barnes is now in charge of day-to-day operations.

It comes as the agency reports "significant" year-on-year growth in its number of events, with the number of corporate events increasing 10 per cent from 2015 to 2016, while private event numbers were up 15 per cent in the same period.

Managing director Liz Taylor said the changes will allow the business to continue taking on more clients, as she predicts 2017 to follow the same trajectory.

"TLC is constantly innovating and we are entering another exciting phase for the company. The changes will allow me to concentrate on developing the creative aspects of the business as well as invest more time in furthering TLC’s extensive client relationships. The new team structure also paves the way for a number of exciting new ventures that I have been planning. They will capitalise on the existing skills, contacts and relationships of TLC, but will take us into new markets and opportunities."
