TRO is helping client BMW step back in time for an historic motor race meeting, where it will reveal a nostalgic stand display based on the post-war 1949-1966 era.

The agency has created the unique stand for BMW's exhibition in the Goodwood Revival, based on the concept of how BMW thought the future would look in 1950. The stand features a retro 1950s design on one end, which fuses into the future as users pass through. BMW staff will also be dressed in 1950s costumes throughout the event, taking place at Earls Court Motor Show arena in West Sussex on 9-11 September.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see the main attraction, the BMW 507, worth over £2 million, or try on virtual reality headsets to view the Vision 2016 model.

Georgina Emery, BMW Group UK events manager, commented: "We are thrilled to be returning to Goodwood Revival this year. The event is a wonderful celebration of period motorsport and it presents a great opportunity for us to engage with such a unique audience. TRO has designed and created a fantastic stand experience which enables us to exhibit our heritage, historic models and present-day product."
